Install and sign in
Prompito takes about two minutes to set up. All you need is Chrome and an email address.
Install from the Chrome Web Store
Find Prompito on the Chrome Web Store and click Add to Chrome. Once installed, the Prompito icon appears in your browser toolbar. If you don't see it, click the puzzle piece icon and pin Prompito.
Create your account
- Click the Prompito icon in your toolbar to open the popup
- Click Create my account, a new tab opens at prompito.com/signup
- Enter your name, email address, and mobile number
- A 6-digit code is sent to your email, enter it on the same page
- Your account is created and you're signed in automatically
- Close the tab, Prompito is ready
How Prompito works
Prompito operates in three phases on every AI interaction. It activates when you type a qualifying prompt on a supported platform and guides you through the full quality loop automatically.
Prompt Enhancement
Before you send, Prompito was designed to understand what a great output looks like for your type of request. It identifies the precise requirements your prompt is missing and rewrites it with them built in. You review and insert it with one click.
Output Detection
After you send, Prompito monitors the page automatically and tells you when the AI has finished responding. No action needed from you.
Output Evaluation
Prompito reads the response, compares it to your requirements, and tells you exactly what was delivered and what was missed, with a correction prompt if needed.
Your free cycles
Every account starts with 5 free cycles. One cycle covers all three phases, enhancement plus evaluation. Your 5 cycles let you experience the complete loop 5 times. They don't expire.
Prompt enhancement
Prompito was designed to understand what a great output looks like. Here's how to use it.
When does it activate?
Prompito activates when your prompt contains action-intent words like write, create, generate, draft, analyze, summarize, or compare. Simple factual lookups, "what is X", "where is Y", "how much is Z", don't trigger it. When it's ready, the pill in the bottom-right changes from prompito to Enhance → with a subtle pulse.
Using the enhanced prompt
- Click Enhance → on the Prompito pill
- Review the gaps and the enhanced prompt in the panel
- Fill in any [PLACEHOLDER] values, these are specific details only you know, like names, dates, URLs, or company details
- Click Use enhanced prompt ↵ to insert it into the AI input field
- Press Enter to send, Prompito starts watching automatically
[PLACEHOLDER: recipient name] markers wherever it needs a specific value that only you can provide. Replace every placeholder before sending, the AI cannot fill these in correctly on its own.
Follow-up prompts
If you're continuing an existing conversation on the same topic, Prompito reads the context and only flags new gaps, it doesn't re-analyse what's already been established. If you shift to a different topic entirely, it runs a full fresh enhancement.
Regenerate
Not happy with the result? Click Regenerate ↺ to run it again. This costs 0.5 cycles.
Output detection
After you send your prompt, Prompito monitors the page and tells you when the AI has finished, no action needed from you.
What to expect
Once you click Use enhanced prompt ↵, the bubble collapses to a pill showing Watching.... When the AI finishes, the bubble expands and shows "The AI has finished responding." with a Check it button. Click it to start the evaluation.
Manual evaluation
You can trigger evaluation at any time by selecting any text on the page and pressing Ctrl+Shift+P on Windows or ⌘+Shift+P on Mac. This works even without using the enhanced prompt.
Claude artifacts
When Claude generates an artifact displayed in a side panel, click Audit this artifact ↵ in the Prompito bubble. This sends Claude a structured checklist asking it to verify its own output against your original requirements, criterion by criterion.
When evaluation is skipped
Prompito skips evaluation for image generation, code generation, and similar technical outputs. When this happens the bubble confirms your prompt enhancement still applied, and no cycle is deducted.
Output evaluation
Prompito reads the AI's response and gives you a plain-language verdict on whether it delivered what you asked for.
When the output passes
If the AI delivered everything your enhanced prompt asked for, Prompito shows a warm confirmation, for example, "Your email is ready to send, give it a quick read before it goes." The panel auto-collapses after 8 seconds.
When gaps are found
If the AI missed something, Prompito names it specifically, up to three gaps, and generates a correction prompt automatically. Click Send follow-up prompt ↵ to paste it into the AI input and send. Prompito then evaluates the follow-up as a new cycle.
Where Prompito works
Prompito activates automatically on these platforms and is completely inactive everywhere else.
Industry profiles
Setting your industry profile improves enhancement quality for your specific context. Prompito applies field-specific best practices and flags the gaps that matter most in your work.
Available profiles: General, Marketing & Content, Legal, Healthcare, Education, HR.
Set your profile in the extension popup under Industry Profile. It takes effect on the next enhancement.
Privacy warnings
Prompito scans your prompt before sending and shows a warning if it detects sensitive information, patient names with medical context, client names with case details, or financial account data.
This warning is about output risk, the AI's response may reproduce or expand on that data. Use it as a prompt to remove or mask sensitive details before sending. Prompito itself never stores the content of your prompts.
Plans and cycles
Prompito tracks usage in cycles, not tokens or word counts. One full cycle covers Phase 1 and Phase 2/3 together.
What counts as one cycle?
- Enhancement alone (without evaluation) = 0.5 cycles
- Enhancement + evaluation = 1 full cycle
- A task needing one correction round = 2 cycles total
- Regenerating the enhanced prompt = 0.5 cycles
- Skipped evaluations (image / code generation) = 0 cycles
Your cycle count is shown in the bar at the bottom of the Prompito bubble. It turns red at 30% remaining. When it reaches zero, your account stays active but enhancement and evaluation pause until you top up or upgrade.
Billing and upgrades
All billing is handled by Lemonsqueezy. To upgrade, change plan, or cancel, open the popup and go to Billing → Manage billing & subscription. This opens the Lemonsqueezy customer portal in a new tab.
Payments are in US Dollars. Receipts are emailed by Lemonsqueezy after every charge. Unused cycles do not roll over between billing periods.
Refunds
We offer a 7-day refund on new Pro Monthly and Pro Annual subscriptions. Email support@prompito.com within 7 days of payment with your order details. See our Terms of Service for the full refund policy.
Teams plan
Each team member gets their own cycle pool. Cycles are not shared across the team. The account owner manages seats and billing from the popup's Team section. Members join via an email invitation sent from the popup.
To purchase a Teams plan, visit prompito.com/teams. Select the number of seats your team needs (minimum 3), review the total, and complete checkout. You will receive a setup email with instructions to invite your team members.
Deleting your account
Open the popup and click Delete account at the bottom. This is permanent, all personal data is erased within 24 hours. Cancel any active subscription in the billing portal before deleting.

- Open or activate the Prompito bubble Tab to pill → Enter
- Trigger manual output evaluation (Windows) Ctrl+Shift+P
- Trigger manual output evaluation (Mac) ⌘+Shift+P
- Insert enhanced prompt / send follow-up Tab to button → Enter
- Minimise bubble Tab to − → Enter
- Close bubble Tab to × → Enter
Common issues
Most issues resolve with a quick extension reload. Start here before contacting support.
The bubble isn't appearing
- Open the popup and confirm the toggle is on
- Hard-refresh the page, Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows, ⌘+Shift+R on Mac
- Go to
chrome://extensionsand click the reload button on Prompito - If it still doesn't appear, sign out and back in from the popup
Enhancement isn't triggering
Prompito activates on prompts that contain action-intent words. Simple or very short prompts intentionally don't trigger it. Try writing a more detailed, task-oriented prompt.
I keep getting signed out
Click Sign in in the bubble or open the popup and sign in again. This takes under a minute. If it keeps happening after a fresh sign-in, contact support, include which AI platform you're on and what you were doing when it happened.
"Check it" never appears
Use the manual shortcut: select any text on the page and press Ctrl+Shift+P (Windows) or ⌘+Shift+P (Mac) to trigger evaluation directly.
The extension seems to slow the page down
Disable Prompito temporarily from the popup toggle, reload the page, then re-enable it. If the slowness continues with Prompito off, it's unrelated to the extension. If it's Prompito-specific, contact support with your browser version and which platform you're on.
